Multigas Ltd is seeking a responsible and motivated individual to join its operations team as a Process Operator G4 (Plant Operator). The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the Air Separation Plants and carrying out cylinder-filling duties.
Duties & Responsabilities
Operate the air separation units efficiently, ensuring:
- Product availability is maintained at healthy stock levels and product losses are avoided.
- Required quality standards are consistently met.
- The lowest possible specific energy is achieved, as discussed with the Plant Engineers.
- Start up and shut down the Air Separation Units autonomously, in accordance with Company instructions and guidelines, with minimal support from the Plant Engineers.
- Keep the plants and Company equipment in good working condition by monitoring for defects and malfunctions and taking remedial action following consultation with the Plant Engineers.
- Perform cylinder-filling duties when required.
- Carry out all duties effectively and efficiently in line with the environmental, health and safety, and quality standards set by the Company.
Skill Experiences & Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Computer literate.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work on a shift basis, including nights, weekends and public holidays as per schedule.
- Previous experience operating industrial process equipment would be considered an asset
- Successful candidate should hold an O Level standard of education, whilst a technical qualification will be considered an asset.
- Willingness to undergo training and continuous development.
- Commitment to maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance
