We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our retail team, assisting in the sale of gases, welding equipment, tools, and hardware to a wide range of clients and target sectors. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering an excellent customer experience and supporting the day-to-day operations of the retail outlet.
Duties & Responsabilities
- Provide accurate and suitable product recommendations based on customers’ needs
- Deliver excellent customer service and support customers throughout the sales process
- Support the management team with sales-related processes and day-to-day retail operations
- Use sales systems effectively to process transactions and maintain accurate records
- Handle cash responsibly and maintain accurate till balances
Skill Experiences & Qualifications
- An O-level standard of education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A customer-focused and friendly approach
- Good sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
- Basic numeracy and confidence in handling cash transactions
- Ability to use sales systems and maintain accurate records
- A proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Interest in DIY, tools, hardware, or related products would be considered an asset
